The Good Shepherd

Certain of the safety of his flock, the Good Shepherd enjoys a few moments with a young Jacob lamb, holding it carefully in his arms while its mother looks on. Both lamb and sheep are hand sculpted, painted and covered with sheep's wool. The Shepherd is 21 inches with hand sculpted face, hands and feet.  He has beautiful blue glass eyes, Tibetan lamb's wool hair and bearding and wears a green one piece knit suit under a gold velvet robe.  The red cloth drapes over his shoulders and falls to his feet.  The Shepherd's sandals are made of leather and his staff is bark covered wire.
